WRONG PROCESS
The process used to create the map was deeply partisan and legally flawed.
Districts should be drawn through a truly nonpartisan committee with full public input, not through a rushed political process where only one political party recommended the map.
WRONG TIME
The map was drawn based on old census data and voter registrations, which could violate State law and doesn’t fully represent the reality of our county’s population.
Outgoing commissioners are pushing this plan through before leaving office, denying voters and the incoming commission a say.
WRONG MAP
The map is deliberately designed to create three Republican-leaning and two Democratic-leaning districts, undermining the non-partisan nature of county elections.
The map is likely to face legal challenges that could cost taxpayers over $250,000 in litigation.
